EL BAREED, 2025

Inaugurated in 1988 and located along the Corniche in Doha, Qatar, the General Post Office—designed by architects Twist + Whitley and constructed between 1979 and 1985 with structural engineering by Bingham Blades—is a landmark civic structure that reflects a postmodern architectural language fused with local cultural references, including its iconic pigeon loft-inspired pyramidal form.
