Day and Night (Also known as FIFA hangout), 2023

This textile artwork was created in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar in December 2022, a global gathering to celebrate the tournament. It prominently features two key venues, the Doha Post and Lusail Boulevard, where visitors from around the world congregated to support their teams. The Arabic names is also included in the textile using a typeface specifically designed to compliment the weaving process.

The textile is divided into two halves, symbolizing the unceasing, round-the-clock celebrations and team cheers that characterized the city during this momentous event, reflecting the city that never slept during this grand celebration.
